Temperatures are dipping in the teens, the Winter Olympics are gearing up, and hot cocoa is flying off the shelves. To ACAC, that means one thing:
IT'S TIME TO BUST OUT YOUR SHORTS!
The wildly popular, bi-annual "Show Your Shorts" local film night is scheduled for Friday, February 26, at the ACAC's HQ at 900 S Rodney Parham. This ain't Sundance, folks. It's a chance for local filmmakers to exhibit and discuss their recent projects -- avant garde or family-friendly; festival-ready or not-quite-there.
We have approximately two hours to fill with YOUR movies. The rules are minimal:
-- Films must be under 30 minutes in length, and the shorter the better.
-- Acceptable formats are DVD, Blu-Ray, YouTube link, or Quicktime or Windows Media files.
Screening time is basically on a first-come-first-served basis, so SEND US SOMETHING ASAP, even if it is just a synopsis by email. Preference will be given to projects which have never screened publicly, and were completed within the past year. We need to get your submissions BY FEBRUARY 15TH!
